LiveAir contract with RVICS, Inc. expanded
International volunteer ministry continues partnership with LiveAir to enable eBusiness across its organization.
December 4, 2007
Smithville, Texas – LiveAir Networks announces that its comprehensive services contract with Roving Volunteers in Christs' Service, Inc., a Smithville-area non-profit ministry, has been renewed. The RVICS project is a multifaceted information technology overhaul, began in the 4th quarter of 2006, that has taken the multinational volunteer organization into new technical realms; saving money in the process.
The RVICS project, designed and implemented by LiveAir, has already linked the organizations international headquarters into the state of the art LiveAir Business Support Platform. LiveAir's BSP supports the offices' day to day operations including digital fax services, digital voice services, and all database and desktop management services. LiveAir is also currently working with RVICS to develop a new, customized information system that will enable eBusiness transactions with the organizations' members, project organizations, and other business entities. Under a separate agreement, LiveAir has also deployed a subdivision network to provide low cost, high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the RVICS village and community in Smithville.
“RVICS has the right idea when it comes to a retirement option for couples around the country,” said James W. Breeden, CEO of LiveAir Networks. “We are pleased that they have chosen LiveAir as a partner to support them as they continue their well appreciated mission.”
The LiveAir solution series will leverage the capabilities LiveAir's Rural Area Network, Central Texas' only 100% digital microwave network dedicated to serving digital broadband and converged network services.
