“Wi-Fi capabilities will give many park users a tremendous amount of flexibility and will support many modern technological needs, I think the new service will help promote the park for additional major events” said Andis Goble, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Smithville.
“LiveAir is excited about the possibilities that this network brings to Riverbend Park. It is a pleasure to be working with Smithville Parks and Recreation to continue to improve the available amenities available in our area parks,” said James W. Breeden, CEO of LiveAir Networks. “We look forward to working with all of the events that come to Riverbend Park year after year.”
The network was installed without any capital outlay by the City of Smithville. A long term agreement between LiveAir and the City of Smithville provides for reasonable fee-based services to be available in the park, of which after LiveAir’s construction cost is recovered, a portion of the collected revenues will benefit programs and services of the Smithville Parks and Recreation Department.
The network is online now and is available for $5 per day, $10 per week, or $30 per month.
